Addressing the event, Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, who was present as the chief guest, said, “I am impressed to have the book (Amar Onusondhan) dedicated to me. Besides, Imdadul Haq Milan dedicated various books to me. The writers have dedicated their books as a token of love for me. I hope they will make continuous efforts to write more books.”
Referring to an investigative report, Imdadul Haq Milan said, “Haider Ali wrote a report based on the story that a son named Kader tortured his mother demanding a piece of land which his father Hasmat Ali of Gafargaon under Mymensingh bought and registered in favour of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The mother expressed her inability to hand over the land as it was given to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Hasmat Ali died of TB for lack of proper treatment but never allowed the sale of this land.
“Having published in the Kaler Kantho, the report was appreciated by the premier. Haider Ali published many such investigative reports. I am happy that he has released the book compiling investigative reports.”
