50 students injured in C’nawabganj road accident

At least 50 students of a coaching center were injured as their picnic bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Powel village area under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Saturday morning, reports BSS.

 Officer in Charge (OC) of Chapainawabganj sadar model thana Sajjad Hossain said a picnic bus carrying about 70 students of Genius Coaching Centre of Dadanchak area under Shibganj upazila in thr district was going to Swapnopalli picnic spot in Nachole upazila. Suddenly a tyre of the bus punctured and the bus plunged into a roadside ditch around 9.30 am.

 All the injured were rushed to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital.
