In a heart-warming initiative, members of Bashundhara Shuvosangho have set up a “Manobotar Deyal” (Wall of Humanity) near Dhaka College to distribute warm clothes to underprivileged people struggling in the winter cold, which reflects the organisation’s commitment to social welfare and encourages community members to contribute to helping those in need.
The Wall of Humanity was officially inaugurated on Wednesday at the National Academy for Educational Management (NAYEM) Alley, adjacent to the Dhaka College campus in the capital.
Key figures from Bashundhara Shuvosangho’s Dhaka College chapter, including President Iqbal Hossain Shihab, General Secretary Touhidul Islam Sagar, Organising Secretary Ashikur Rahman, Religious Affairs Secretary Abu Bakar and members Aziz Mahmud, Shovon and Rifat, were present at the launch.
At the event, Shihab Uddin emphasised the importance of such initiatives to address local needs.
“The Wall of Humanity is a platform to provide warm clothes to needy people. We must take personal responsibility to address the small challenges we see around us,” he said.
