Members of the Bashundhara Shuvosangho unit in Swarupkathi enjoyed a day out in Swarupkathi upazila, Pirojpur, featuring a boat trip, picnic, sports, cultural activities, and raffle draws.
Participants visited the floating vegetable cultivation area in Umarerpar of Bisharkandi union of Banaripara upazila in an engine-powered trawler from Swarupkathi on Friday.
Shuvosangho members gathered for a meal at the Purba Madhya Umarerpar Dakhil Madrasa ground and participated in sports and cultural programmes there.
Kaler Kantho Correspondent Shahidul Islam Ratul conducted the raffle draw while Shuvosangho Adviser Hazrat Ali Hiru, President Md Mohibullah, Organising Secretary Mostakim Billah Raju, Finance Secretary Mamunar Rashid, Women's Affairs Secretary Umme Kulsum Hasi, Library Affairs Secretary Russell Mahmud, Assistant Cultural Secretary Mughdah Hasan, businessman Abdur Rahim, and journalist Abu Yusuf were present on the occasion.
