Foreign Affairs Adviser M Touhid Hossain called on UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
The meeting was held at the InterContinental Hotel in the capital on Friday.
The Special Envoy of the Principal Advisor on Rohingya and Priority Issues Dr. Khalilur Rahman also attended the meeting.
The UN Secretary General arrived in Dhaka on a four-day visit on Thursday afternoon. He will visit the Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar today (Friday) with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
The UN Secretary General will go directly to the Rohingya camp after landing in Cox's Bazar where he will know about the campaign about Rohingya children in a camp and a presentation on nutrition and support for the Rohingya. After that, he will go to the Rohingya Cultural Center and watch a cultural performance. He will also visit a learning center in the district.
The Secretary General will visit the UN office in Dhaka on Saturday. He will meet with the Consensus Commission and later with civil society representatives.
The UN Secretary General will hold a press conference on the same day.
