Pakistani model-actor Zara Ahmed will appear in a Bangladeshi film titled Force, which will be directed by Asif Iqbal Jewel.
It is learned that the actress officially signed the project on March 11. The film revolves around the story of a woman’s revenge, and Zara will play the role of a police officer. Bangladeshi actor Mak Didar will star opposite Zara in Force.
When asked about the reason for casting the Pakistani actress in the film, the director told local media, “We were looking for a female actor for a long time for the role of a police officer. We wanted an actress who works out regularly, can perform fight scenes, has a long face, and a slightly broken jaw—in short, someone who suits action. After a lot of searching, we chose her.”
The director also informed that the pre-production work of the movie is currently underway. Shooting will begin on April 10 at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC). The shooting will also take place in Keraniganj and Gazipur. Zara will be in Bangladesh for about two weeks to shoot.
The production company aims to release the film during Eid-ul-Azha this year.
