After a long 20 years, a draft of a new visa policy has been placed in the cabinet meeting. However, the countries that were previously blacklisted in the draft visa policy remain as before.
This information was shared by Cabinet Secretary Dr. Nasimul Gani after the cabinet meeting on Thursday afternoon.
The Cabinet Secretary said that after 2006, a new draft of the visa policy has been presented in 2026. This policy has been formulated as part of mutual relations and goodwill and to attract investment and tourism.
Stating that a committee has been formed under the leadership of the Finance Minister in this regard, he said that 34 types of categories have been created in the field of visas. In addition, the countries that were blacklisted in the visa policy remain as before.
