Dengue awareness campaign held in Karnaphuli upazila

Bashundhara Shuvosangho has conducted an awareness campaign against the dengue outbreak in Karnaphuli upazila of Chattogram on Monday.

As part of the campaign, the social volunteer platform held a rally at Moijjartek Square and distributed leaflets outlining basic rules for dengue protection.

The students of the 'Student Care Model School' have partnered with Bashundhara Shuvosangho in a campaign.

Bashundhara Shuvosangho Karnaphuli unit president Sharmin Moni said the organisation has started raising awareness among the general public about dengue.

“We will gradually expand our work to the entire upazila. We need everyone's cooperation in this regard,” she said.

Bashundhara Shuvosangho vice-president Jalal Uddin Rokon, general secretary Mohammad Lokman, joint general secretary Emdadul Islam Rubel and organising secretary Arafat Uddin were present on the occasion.
