Bashundhara Shuvosangho has distributed blankets among 30 newspaper hawkers in Feni.
The former president of the local Press Club Abdur Rahim and Shuvosangho Advisor Mamunur Rashid were the guests of honour at the blanket distribution programme held on Sunday.
DBC News district correspondent Abu Taher Bhuiyan, Banglavision district correspondent Rafiqul Islam, senior journalist Shahidul Alam Imran, Ekattor TV correspondent Zahirul Haque Milu, and SwadeshPatra Editor NN Jiban were present at the event, which was graced by Journalists’ Union Feni President Siddique Al Mamun.
Abdur Rahim praised Bashundhara Shuvosangho's initiative to distribute blankets to the helpless hawkers working in newspaper distribution.
“We stand with Shuvosangho members in their effort to help people from various sectors of the district,” he said.
Shuvosangho district unit president Jasim Farayzi moderated the discussion, while executive members Kamrul Hasan Liton, Yasin Sumon, Zahirul Haque Milu, Mofizur Rahman, Zia Uddin Sohag, and Mir Hossain Russell delivered speeches.
