Mahbub Morshed made BSS MD & chief editor

The government on Saturday appointed Mahbub Morshed as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Editor of the state-run national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) on a two-year contract.

Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard.

The notification said other conditions of this appointment will be fixed on the basis of the contract.

"The notification will come into immediate effect," it said.
