The interim government will bear all the medical expenses of the people who sustained injuries during the recent anti-discrimination movement that caused the downfall of the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami League government, reports Daily Sun.
The private hospitals have been requested not to accept the treatment cost from the victims, according to a press release signed by the secretary of the Service Department under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The ministry has already formed a committee to investigate the casualties that took place during the student movement and the committee members are scheduled to hold a meeting on Sunday to decide their next steps, said the press release on Saturday.
