Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman GM Quader on Thursday said there was no hike in prices of the daily essentials in the holy month of Ramadan during the tenure of his party.
“Prices of all daily commodities and power have been increased during the current government in Ramadan. But Jatiya Party had reduced the prices of the daily necessities considering people’s sufferings,” he said.
GM Quader claimed while talking to journalists at Lalmonirhat circuit house on Thursday.
The Jatiya Party chairman has come to Lalmonirhat, his constituency on a three-day visit.
He alleged that corruption and irregularities grip every sector of the country including education and health.
