Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain was ruled out of the third and final ODI against Afghanistan, scheduled to be held on Tuesday following a knee injury, and might miss T20 series, too, reports BSS.
During the second ODI, Ebadot hobbled off the ground, leaving his last over of the match unfinished after suffering the knee injury.
The Bangladesh team management said he would undergo an MRI to know the extent of the injury.
"He (Ebadot) sustained a knee injury during second game. He will undergo an MRI. At this moment I don't think it is possible for him to play third ODI," chief selector Minhajul Abdein Nannu said.
Since Bangladesh have two important tournaments-- Asia Cup and World Cup--coming up, he would also miss the two-match T20 series against Afghanistan.
Bangladesh had already lost the three-match ODI series following the defeat in the first two matches.
