Sajia Tonny's 'Style with Me by Sajia' becomes popular in social media

Sajia Tonny, an influential digital marketer and content creator, has made significant strides in combating misconceptions about skincare in the country.

Through her popular YouTube channel, "Style with Me by Sajia," and her Facebook page, Sajia educates her audience on the dangers of whitening creams and the importance of honest skincare practices.

With 1 million followers on Facebook and almost 300k subscribers on YouTube, Sajia Tonny’s voice is making a significant impact in the beauty industry, according to a media release.

Sajia, a former news host for channels such as Maasranga Television, Channel 24, and SA TV, has transitioned from a career in broadcasting to focusing on digital content creation.

She started her hosting journey in 2008 and has since worked with major brands and events including the ICC T20 World Cup 2014, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Robi, Grameenphone, Huawei, and Marlboro.

Despite her impressive career in media, Sajia has found a new calling in educating the public about ethical skincare.

In her content, Sajia Tonny addresses various misconceptions prevalent in the Bangladeshi beauty industry. She takes a firm stand against the use of whitening creams, which are widely marketed in Bangladesh but often contain harmful chemicals.

"These products not only perpetuate unrealistic beauty standards but also pose significant health risks," Sajia explains. Her goal is to shift the focus from skin lightening to skin health, encouraging her audience to embrace their natural complexion.

Moreover, Sajia uses her platform to expose dishonest traders who sell counterfeit or unsafe skincare products. She provides her followers with tips on how to identify genuine products and avoid scams. "Education is key," Sajia says. "By informing consumers, we can help them make better choices and protect their skin from damage."

Sajia completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Khulna University in Bangladesh with double first-class honours.

Currently, she studies in the United States of America, pursuing an Associate Degree in Digital Marketing. This academic pursuit complements her practical experience and enhances her ability to deliver high-quality, informative content.

Her efforts have not gone unnoticed. Many of her followers praised her for the value she adds through her content. "Sajia’s videos are eye-opening. She speaks the truth about the beauty industry and helps us understand what’s good for our skin," says one of her subscribers.

As Sajia Tonny continues her journey, she remains committed to making a positive impact through her content.
