Four former ministers and state ministers of the ousted Awami League (AL) government were seen in a personal meeting in the United Kingdom.
United Kingdom (UK) Awami League Joint General Secretary Abdul Ahad Chowdhury shared a photograph of the meeting on social media. In the photo, it was seen that four former ministers and state ministers, along with the local Awami League leaders, are gossiping at a canteen of a hospital.
They are -- Awami League presidium member and former minister of fisheries and livestock Abdur Rahman, former foreign minister Hasan Mahmud, former state minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and former state minister for expatriate welfare and overseas employment Shafiqul Rahman Chowdhury.
Surprisingly, all of them were in a joyous mood despite committing crimes in Bangladesh.
These fugitive leaders went to visit the United Kingdom Awami League’s ailing president Sultan Mahmud Sharif at the hospital.
United Kingdom Awami League joint general secretary Abdul Ahad Chowdhury, office secretary Shah Shamim Ahmed and industries and commerce affairs secretary ASM Misbah were also present there.
