Afghanistan scored 331-9 against Bangladesh in their stipulated 50 overs in the second ODI of the series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday, reports Daily Sun.
The 256-run stand by the Afghan openers Gurbaz and Zadran is the highest partnership for the country in ODIs. Apart from their record partnership for their country, they also became the first pair of openers to score centuries in the same game for Afghanistan.
This is also the third highest ODI total for Afghanistan and Gurbaz's 145, which came off 125 deliveries, is the second-highest ODI score by an Afghan batter.
