Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country for the next 24 hours beginning from 9am on Sunday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country,” it said.
A seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay, reports BSS.
The met office also predicted that moderate to thick fog may occur over the northern part and light to moderate fog at several places elsewhere over the country from late night to early Monday morning.
Night and day temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 32.2 degrees Celsius at Ambagan in Chattogram division and a minimum temperature of 13.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Badalgachhi in Rajshahi division on Sunday.
The sun will set at 05:12pm on Sunday and will rise at 06:15am on Monday in Dhaka, it added.
