The winter chill has begun to settle in Panchagarh as the temperature dropped to 15.6 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to the met office in Tetulia.
The cool breeze from the mountains has intensified the feeling of cold, while early morning fog blankets the fields, and dew glistens on the tips of grass.
Although the temperature reached 17 degrees Celsius on Saturday, it fell to 16.2 degrees the previous day, Friday, Russell Shah, in-charge officer at the Tetulia weather station told journalists on Sunday.
