Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) will give Tk1 crore to the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) champions Bangladesh national women’s football team.
The decision was made in the BOA Executive Committee meeting, chaired by Bangladesh Army chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman, on Saturday.
“Army will give Tk50 lakh while BOA will give Tk50 lakh to the two-time SAFF champions,” BOA Executive Committee member and Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) General Secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor told the reporters after the meeting.
“The new BOA president [General Waker] made the announcement following the day's meeting,” he added.
