Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 is among the most eagerly awaited films, with the dynamic Ranveer Singh taking over the iconic lead role previously played by Shah Rukh Khan.
Earlier, stakeholders confirmed that Kiara Advani will star as the female lead. However, following her pregnancy, the actress decided to walk out of the film and focus on herself. Now, as per the latest report, ‘Munjya’ actress Sharvari Wagh is joining Singh for the awaited thriller.
“Sharvari and one more actress were being considered. But she has managed to bag the role," states the report that also went on to add the film's team is excited to have her on board.
The news of her casting comes after the actress bagged the role opposite Alia Bhatt in the spy film 'Alpha', directed by Shiv Rawail.
'Don 3' is expected to go on floors by the end of this year. The first two films had Shah Rukh playing the iconic role of Don. This time, the reins have been handed to Ranveer, to bring in a new vibe and energy.
This is a big moment for Sharvari, who is riding high after the success of her horror-comedy film 'Munjya'.
