Education adviser Professor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar has urged the youths to build a world based on peace, tolerance and justice.
“The doors of possibilities are opening through new technologies while global intolerance, extremism and narrow-mindedness are becoming challenges on the path to great achievements. The youths will have to face these challenges and built a new world with their talent, skills and hard work,” he added.
The education adviser made this call at the 24th convocation ceremony of the East West University at the Aftabnagar playground in the capital on Wednesday, reports BSS.
At the convocation, the education adviser, as the representative of the university Chancellor, presented degrees to the students.
A total of 2,885 undergraduate and postgraduate students were awarded certificates. In addition, six talented students were awarded gold medals.
