Day and night temperatures have started to decrease across the country, with fog beginning to form in the northern regions, Sylhet, and coastal areas. As temperatures continue to drop over the next 72 hours, fog conditions are expected to intensify.
This information was provided in a forecast released by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday.
Meteorologist Shahnaaz Parveen has indicated that winter in Dhaka will likely settle in fully by mid-December, with temperatures gradually dropping in the coming weeks. The chill is expected to become more noticeable by mid-November, continuing to intensify through early December. Parveen also noted that the cold will begin to be felt at night by the end of November, with daytime temperatures steadily decreasing. The coldest period is anticipated to occur around mid-January.
Meanwhile, at 6 a.m. on Sunday, the lowest temperature recorded in Chuadanga was 15.8°C.
There is no likelihood of the temperature rising further, and the cold will gradually intensify across the country.
