Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of Anti-discrimination Students Movement said the young folks dare to sacrifice their life defying bullets and the seniors become desparate to grab posts.
He said this at a discussion meeting organized by the Education Rights Council held at the National Education Management Academy in the capital on Saturday morning.
Hasnat Abdullah also complained that the intellectuals used to take advantage by asking biased questions in front of Sheikh Hasina, who was deposed from the post of Prime Minister in the students' uprising.
Hasnat Abdullah said, “The youth are not only readers of history, this time they have created history. Therefore, the contribution of everyone in history should be properly highlighted in the textbook.”
He urged to be refrained from the attempt to highlight national achievements including the Liberation War as a single contribution of someone in the textbooks.
