The Bashundhara Shuvosangha Sirajganj district branch has extended free medical services to over 200 flood-affected individuals in Kazipur upazila. The initiative, aimed at aiding the poor, helpless, and destitute, took place at Maizbari High School.
Medical professionals prescribed diabetes tests and various medications to the men, women, and children receiving care. Kazipur Upazila Chairman and Upazila Awami League General Secretary, Khalilur Rahman Siraji, attended as the chief guest, praising the Bashundhara Shuvosangha's humanitarian efforts.
"The common people of the remote areas are benefiting through this activity. I am impressed with Bashundhara Group's social, humanitarian, and welfare activities. Being with such good work is also a matter of luck. Let such activities continue," Siraji remarked.
The event also saw the presence of former Maizbari Union Chairman Talukdar Jahangir Alam, general secretary of Bashundhara Shuvosangha district branch Dewan Shahiduzzaman Shubo, joint general secretary Dr. Sumana Haque, Dr. Jannatul Ferdous Meem, Enamul Haque, Organizational Secretary Tofail Ahmed, Health Secretary Dr. Rakib Hasan, and general secretary of Kazipur Upazila Bashundhara Shuvosangha Ashkar Pain, among others.
