Bangladesh Women's A team beat Sri Lanka A team by 10 runs in the third T20 game on Sunday at P Sara Oval Stadium in Colombo, reports BSS.
Having won the game, Bangladesh women's team which is touring Sri Lanka, under the guise of A team, took 3-0 lead and thereby confirmed the five-match T20 series. They won the first two matches by seven wickets and 104 runs respectively.
While the victory in the first two matches came with ease, Bangladesh had to toil hard for their third straight victory in T20 series. They were held back to 97-9 in their 20-over allocation with Sathi Rani Barman making highest 26 and and Ritu Moni adding 25.
In reply, the hosts were able to score 87-8 in 20 overs with Nahida Akter and Marufa Akter taking two wickets each.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the two-match one-day series 1-0 with the first match being washed out.
