Shakib Al Hasan on Wednesday hinted that he might play for Bangladesh after the Abu Dhabi T10 where he will be leading Bangla Tigers, reports The Daily Sun.
The Abu Dhabi T10 will begin today where Shakib’s Bangla Tigers will take to the field against Samp Army in their first match. The final of the tournament will take place on 2 December.
“I can’t reveal the plans now. All the teams are really strong here and they will try to be champions. We have the same goal as well. We’ll try our best from our place. I think we have a well-balanced side,” Shakib said regarding his team’s plans in the Abu Dhabi T10 during a captains’ press conference.
“After this tournament,” the southpaw answered with a cheeky smile when he was asked when he will play for Bangladesh again.
Bangladesh’s ODI series against West Indies will begin from 8 December. Shakib’s answer might hint that he will be available for the three-match ODI series.
“All focus on this tournament,” Shakib said when he was asked regarding his plans for the Champions Trophy 2025.
