The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is completely ready to tackle any untoward situation at frontiers, reports BSS.
"BGB is fully prepared and alert to prevent any kind of unwanted situation or mischief at the borders," said BGB headquarters in a short message Tuesday.
Following an attack on Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, tensions heighten in the border area for days.
Bangladesh condemned the attack, while India “regrets” the attack and suspended three cops for their “negligence”.
On the other hand, Indian police have arrested seven Hindu extremist involved in the attack.
