Is Argentine football star Di María stepping into coaching next?
After bidding farewell to the national team, it seems he is now heading in that direction. In an interview, he hinted at his plans for the future.
In a conversation published by Clank Media, Di María stated, “I am taking a course to become a coach. I’m doing it just in case I need it.”
Di María accepts the fact that coaching will be much harder than playing football because it demands more.
“As a player, you only train and then go home. But as a coach, you don’t have that luxury,” said Di María
For now, Di María wants to enjoy time with his family once he retires from football. After that, he will consider becoming a coach.
In 2022, Di María played a crucial role in Argentina’s World Cup victory. After helping the team secure back-to-back Copa América titles, he retired from international football in July.
