New IGP, DMP commissioner appointed

The government has appointed Baharul Alam as the new police chief and Sheikh Sazzad Ali as the new chief of police force’s Dhaka city unit.

Outgoing inspector general of police Md Mainul Islam and the outgoing DMP commissioner Mainul Hassan have both been attached with the Police Headquarters, according to a government notification issued Wednesday.
