Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal has announced to withdraw from captaincy, although he will continue as opening batsman.
Tamim made the announcement after a meeting with BCB President’s house Thursday night.
He will not take part in the upcoming Asia Cup.
Earlier, on July 6, he during an impromptu press conference at The Tower Inn in Chattogram announced to retire from cricket.
His decision sparked sensation among the sports lovers at home and abroad.
