Bangladesh-Afghanistan face each other in the only Test at Mirpur Sher-i-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Tiger’s captain Liton Das lost the toss in the first match and the hosts will bat first.
Liton said, “We would've bowled first had we won the toss.”
Afghanistan Captain Hashmatullah Shahidi said, “We will bowl first as it's a fresh wicket and it's been raining for the last week. We'll do our best with the ball in the first session. We are excited and confident as we won last time.”
“We'll try to start positively. Rashid is a big loss, especially in Tests, but his health is important for me and for all of Afghanistan, for the Asia cup and World Cup. We have two seamers and spinners, with one allrounder,” he added.
