Jamaat Ameer urges politicians to do politics with the trust of people

Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has urged the politicians to do politics with the trust of the people.

Only then will you accept the people with arms wide open, he said.

Reminding those who were in power in the past, Jamaat Ameer said, “look at your past. If you do well, the people will choose you again. Otherwise, they will definitely reject you.”

He said this as the chief guest during a public rally and distribution of self-employment materials held by Mirpur Purba Thana Jamaat-e-Islami at the Manipur School and College ground in Mirpur of the capital on Sunday evening.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Awami League has never respected democracy and democratic values. They have done whatever they wanted to prolong their illegal power and remain in power. Therefore, their departure was not at all honorable. A review of history shows that no one has ever had such a shameful departure in the past. And those who have once left like this have never been able to return to the scene. Rather, they have to be thrown into the abyss of history. But the fallen dictatorship of our country is resorting to various conspiracies to return to power again. Its trying to destabilize the country in various ways.”

He asked the audience whether those who have killed people for no reason have the right to do politics in this country?
