If we fail, Hasina and her aides will ruin our existence: Sarjis

Sarjis Alam, the general secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, said, "Sheikh Hasina and her perpetrators are trying in every way so that we do not succeed. If we fail somehow, none of us who are here will be left alive as Hasina and her allies will finish us."

"Before August 5, there were many families of martyrs who were not allowed to bury their bodies properly. They were not allowed to stay at home and harassed. If the murderer Hasina's allies come again in power, they will do the same.”

He said this at a ceremony to distribute financial assistance of Tk five lakh to the families of 55 people killed in the July mass uprising at the Tareq Smriti Auditorium of the Town Hall in Mymensingh town on Saturday morning.

The program began at 11:09 am at the Tareq Smriti Auditorium of the Town Hall in the city with the national anthem. A minute silence was observed in memory of the martyred heroes in the anti-discrimination movement.

Sarjis Alam said, "The evil plot of the black vultures has not stopped yet. If we can survive with your prayers, we will not let any martyr's family or the injured be hit even once. None of the martyr's family or the injured brothers will have to live a miserable life. It may take some time to do this. We will always be by your side, giving everything in exchange for our lives."
