Ex-MP Fazle Karim Chy held while fleeing to India

Three people including former Awami League lawmaker from Chattogram-6 constituency Fazle Karim Chowdhury have been detained at the border while attempting to enter India illegally on Thursday.

Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained them from the Akhaura border n Brahmanbaria.

Shariful Islam, public relations officer of BGB headquarters, confirmed the matter.

He said, "Fazle Karim Chowdhury and two others were detained by BGB while trying to illegally enter India through the Akhaura border in Brahmanbaria."
