Additional SP Kafi suspended

Abdullahil Kafi, the additional superintendent of police (Crime and Operation) in Dhaka district, has been suspended.

A notification, signed by the Home Ministry’s Public Security Division senior secretary Dr Md Abdul Momen suspended Kafi on Tuesday.    

According to the notification, Abdullahil Kafi has been arrested in two separate cases filed with Dhanmondi Police Station and Hazaribagh Police Station. For this reason, he has been suspended.  

He will be attached to the Barishal Range DIG office, added the notification.  

On September 3, the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) detained Abdullahil Kafi from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
