Miscreants vandalised the East West Media Group’s office in Bashundhara residential area of Dhaka and assaulted a female journalist on Monday.
A group of miscreants equipped with lethal weapons entered the media house around 2:45 pm chanting with several slogans.
They first entered the Radio Capital office and vandalised official equipment, including interior decoration, furniture, doors, window panes, laptops and computers and broadcasting machineries.
A female journalist was also attacked, but she was rescued by her colleagues without sustaining any major injuries.
Later, the attackers vandalised a number of cars and motorcycles parked inside the media complex.
An eyewitness said a group of miscreants abruptly entered the media house and went on vandalism indiscriminately.
