The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Karim AA Khan visited the Rohingya camps in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar, on Tuesday. He arrived at Camp No. 1 at around 9:30 am, where he discussed the genocide committed against the Rohingya people.
Following his initial stop, Khan toured several other camps, including Camp No. 4, accompanied by a 15-member delegation.
The ICC prosecutor arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning and traveled to Cox's Bazar later that afternoon via a special flight to conduct the visit.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ICC is investigating potential crimes against humanity during the forced displacement of Rohingya from Myanmar's Rakhine State. Khan's visit is part of the ongoing investigation into these allegations.
