Advisor to the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Fouzul Kabir Khan informed that the cost involved the Mirpur-10 metro station repair is Tk1.25 crore, reports The Business Standard.
He shared the information with media during his visit to the station following its reopening on Tuesday.
“There have been various discussions about the costs involved in restoring this station, but we have spent only Tk 1.25 crore. Additionally, the repairs for Kazipara station cost us slightly over Tk20 lakh,” he said.
He further mentioned that equipment from other stations had to be temporarily moved to get Mirpur-10 operational.
“We plan to purchase replacements for those items and return them to their respective stations. In total, we estimate that the cost for these replacements will be Tk18.86 crore,” he added.
