Marcel-Daily Sun World Cup Football Quiz-2022 draw was held through a formal lottery in a gala event at the conference room of Daily Sun in the Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Monday.
The daily sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury presided over the event as the chief guest.
On behalf of Walton Group, Deputy Executive Director (PR, Media & Branding, Marketing & Communication) Md. Mustafizur Rahman and Principal Officer (PR, Media & Branding (Marketing) Mohammad Parves graced the event with their presence.
Out of thousands of participants, lucky 18 were picked through a lottery draw system. The quiz was divided into two phases with each phase containing nine prizes.
Badshah from Banani was the first prize winner of the first phase; Khadija from Bangshal, Dhaka was the second prize winner while Somen Chowdhury from Gazipur became the third prize winner.
Meanwhile, the second phase saw Shahin from Narayanganj coming out as the first prize winner; Israt Jahan from Mugdha, Dhaka winning the second prize and Tanvir Mahmud from Kotwali, Dhaka clinching the third prize.
Three fourth-prize winners and three fifth-prize winners were also decided through a raffle draw from each phase.
In the first phase, the first prize was a Marcel Refrigerator (223 Litre), the second prize was a 32” Marcel LED TV and the third prize was a Marcel Microwave Oven.
Three Marcel Rice Cookers were on offer as the fourth prize for three individual winners and three fifth prize winners will avail of three Marcel Blenders.
In the second phase, the first prize was a Marcel Air Conditioner (1.5 Ton), the second prize was a 32” Marcel LED TV and the third prize was a Marcel Microwave Oven.
Just like in the first phase, three Marcel Rice Cookers were on offer as the fourth prize for three individual winners and three fifth prize winners will avail of three Marcel Blenders in the second phase as well.

Walton Group Deputy Executive Director Mustafizur also promised to continue the same relationship between Daily Sun and Walton Group.
“We have arranged quiz contests in 18 media organisations this year. We were with Daily Sun in the past. Hopefully, we will be with them in the future as well,” Mustafizur said.
