Drug peddling is taking place almost openly in several slums and densely populated areas of the capital. The situation is especially visible in Mugda, Moghbazar, Malibagh, Karwan Bazar, and Korail slum. Even around the Mohakhali and Moghbazar flyovers, safe havens for drug dealers have developed.
