Shobnom Bubly, one of the most popular actresses in the Bangladeshi film industry, is celebrating her birthday on Wednesday. From a news anchor to a prominent Dhaka film heroine, she made a strong presence in the film industry by captivating audiences with her charm and talent.
Despite her fame, Bubly does not celebrate her birthday lavishly; rather, she prefers to spend the day with her family, she told Bangladesh Pratidin.
During a phone call, she shared that her birthday traditions are simple and heartfelt. “I never extravagantly celebrate my birthday. My father arranges a milad at the mosque, offering dua for me. My mother prepares my favourite foods, and my siblings surprise me with gifts,” Bubly said.
This year, the actress also has a busy work schedule. “There will be some shooting today, and if I’m on set, the team often surprises me with a cake to celebrate. It’s likely to be the same this year," she expressed. Her birthday will be celebrated in two different ways both at home and on the shooting set.
Bubly also shared that her son, Shehzad Khan Bir, is the most cherished and special person in her life, and she will celebrate the day with her son in an exceptional way, as she always does.
Expressing her gratitude to her fans and colleagues, she said, “I am truly overwhelmed by the love and best wishes from my fellow journalists, directors, producers, co-stars, and my dear fans. It’s beyond words. I will forever remain grateful to everyone.”
Expressing optimism, she said, “I want to remain in everyone's love and devotion throughout my life.”
