Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan was allegedly stabbed by an intruder, who barged in his Mumbai house, reports NDTV.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 am on Thursday. The actor is presently receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.
The police have initiated an investigation and filed an FIR against the intruder at the Bandra Police Station. According to the police, the intruder entered Saif Ali Khan's home while he was sleeping with his wife Kareena Kapoor and their sons Taimur and Jeh.
A scuffle broke out between the actor and the intruder after he attempted to barge in, Police confirmed. Later, the intruder allegedly stabbed Saif Ali Khan a couple of times and fled the crime scene.
Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and their sons welcomed the New Year in Switzerland. The family returned to Mumbai last week.
Saif Ali Khan's most recent appearance was in Devara Part 1, where he starred alongside Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, and Narain. The film was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
