Sarjis Alam gets married

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the National Citizen Committee, has tied the knot on Friday.

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud confirmed the information through a Facebook post.

He shared a photo on his verified page, showing Sarjis Alam dressed as a groom in a sherwani and turban. Standing beside him were three interim government advisers—Mahfuz Alam, Nahid Islam, and Asif Mahmud—along with anti-discrimination student movement coordinator Hasnat Abdullah.

In the caption, Asif Mahmud congratulated Sarjis Alam, wishing him a happy married life.

Following the post, netizens flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages and well wishes. Some also inquired about the bride’s identity, but no details have been disclosed yet. It also remains unclear whether the wedding took place in Sarjis Alam’s hometown or in Dhaka.
