"Despite dictator fleeing, conspiracy to destabilize country continues"
Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman is giving a speech.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, 'Now many people ask in an uplifted tone whether they will participate in the elections? I say - those who committed genocide, shot the people of the country with weapons bought by the people of the country to stay in power. Do they have the right to do politics in this country? Even if the dictatorship has fled, they do not want to give peace. They are continuing to conspire to destabilize this society and the country.'

He made these remarks as the chief guest at a Jamaat rally held at Atharomile intersection in Dumuria Upazila, Khulna, on Thursday morning. The rally was organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami of Dumuria upazila.

Jamaat Ameer said, "The leaders who have ruled for the past 15 and a half years haven't worked to improve the country but to benefit themselves. Instead of giving work to the people, they have taken away their livelihoods. The people were crushed by the procession of millions of unemployed people."

He said, "In educational institutions, pens have been taken from the hands of students and weapons have been handed to criminals. The hard-earned money of the people of the country has been smuggled abroad."

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "We love this country and want to build it. We want to create a society and state where corrupt occupiers have no place, that society where our mothers and sisters can walk with dignity both at home and in every public space."

He stated, "Our fight will persist until the people's liberation is achieved and a nation founded on equality and justice is established, InnshaAllah."

The special guests at the rally were Professor Mia Golam Parwar, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP, Central Organizational Secretary and Khulna Region Director Muhaddis Abdul Khalek, Central Working Council Member and Khulna Region's Assistant coordinator Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Central Majlis Shura Member and Khulna District Amir Maulana Emran Hussain, and Satkhira District Ameer Maulana Shahidul Islam Mukul.

The rally was presided over by Upazila Ameer Maulana  Mokhtar Hossain and conducted by Secretary Maulana Sheikh Sirajul Islam, was attended by invited guests including Khulna Secretary Munshi Mizanur Rahman, Khulna Metropolitan Secretary Advocate Sheikh Jahangir Hossain Helal, District Assistant Secretary Munshi Moinul Islam, Advocate Mostafizur Rahman, Professor Mia Golam Quddus, Principal Gausul Azam Hadi, Khulna North District Chhatra Shibir President Belal Hossain Riyad and Secretary Abu Yusuf Fakir.
