The first death anniversary of Dr Tofazzal Hossain (TH) Khan, a former director of the Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS), will be observed tomorrow (Tuesday).
On that day in 2024, TH Khan breathed his last after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Uttara residence in the capital.
Dr TH Khan is the father of Dhaka University Professor, BNP’s Mass Education Affairs Secretary and University Teachers' Association of Bangladesh (UTAB) Secretary General Dr Md Morshed Hasan Khan.
His elder son is also a professor at Dhaka University and his younger son is a lawyer.
Marking the first death anniversary of TH Khan, the family members have organized a Quran recitation programme, grave visit (ziarat), milad and dua mahfil with orphans, well-wishers, and relatives on Tuesday.
