The 20th edition of three-day international tourism fair, US-Bangla Airlines Dhaka Travel Mart 2025, is commencing on Thursday, at the Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.
The event, organized by The Bangladesh Monitor, will be formally inaugurated by cultural affairs adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
More than 50 organizations from the UAE, Iran, Maldives, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Jordan, India, and Bangladesh will participate in the fair, showcasing various travel and tourism products and services.
Exhibitors include national tourism organizations, airlines, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, tour operators, and financial institutions.
Visitors can expect exclusive discounts on domestic and international air tickets, tour packages, hotel and resort stays, and other tourism-related services.
Leading private carrier US-Bangla Airlines is the title sponsor of the event, with FirstTrip and Akij Air as key supporters.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Mutual Trust Bank have joined as the airline and banking partners, respectively.
The fair will be open to visitors from Thursday to Saturday, between 10am and 8pm daily.
Entry tickets are priced at Tk50, with attendees getting the chance to win 45 exciting prizes through a raffle draw.
Prizes include return air tickets to various domestic and international destinations, complimentary stays at renowned hotels and resorts, and exclusive dining experiences at star-rated hotels in Bangladesh.
At a press conference held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Bangladesh Monitor Editor Kazi Wahidul Alam shared insights into the upcoming event.
Also present were Kamrul Islam, general manager (PR) of US-Bangla Airlines; AKM Shohidul Hasan, deputy general manager (Marketing) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines; Hasnain Rafiq, chief operating officer of FirstTrip; and Md Abu Bokar Siddik, head of the Card Division of Mutual Trust Bank.
