Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan said the country’s people don’t want Awami League to return in any way.
He said this to journalists while visiting the Saraswati Puja held at Jagannath Hall of Dhaka University on Monday morning.
Asif Mahmud alleged that since the changeover on August 5, the Awami League has been looking for any opportunity from the first day. Such provocative situations have been occurring since August 5. They are trying to create chaos in February. So far, they have not been successful in it.
Mentioning that the people of Bangladesh are very worried about this, the advisor said, "People don’t want the Awami League to return in any way under its ideology or its name after committing such genocide. Because it poses a threat to the security of all the people of Bangladesh."
Asif Mahmud also said that although they have tried to create chaos multiple times, this time they will not be able to do so.
