The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a task force to take action against illegal foreign nationals residing in the country. The ministry confirmed this in a notification issued on Monday, signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Kamruzzaman.
The task force will be led by the Additional Secretary (Security and External Affairs) of the Security Services Department as Convener, with the Joint Secretary (External Affairs-II Division) serving as Member Secretary.
Its members include representatives from key government agencies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Public Security Department, Special Branch, Directorate of Immigration and Passports, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bureau of NGO Affairs, National Security Intelligence, and Defense Intelligence.
