Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, visited the village home of Martyr Shrabon, who was tragically shot by terrorists in Mohipal, Feni during the anti-discrimination student movement. On Monday morning, Dr. Shafiqur visited Shrabon’s grave in Anandpur, Fulgazi police station, to offer condolences and meet with the martyr's family.
Speaking to the family, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman praised Shrabon’s bravery and the sacrifices made by the youth in shaping a better Bangladesh. He said, "We have a new Bangladesh because of brave children like Shrabon. Martyr's parents are proud, as not all parents are lucky to be guardians of heroes." He assured that the sacrifices of the martyrs will never be forgotten and pledged that Jamaat-e-Islami would continue striving to fulfill the dreams for which they fought.
Additionally, Dr. Shafiqur visited Sultanpur in Feni municipality, where he gifted a house to a flood-affected family, further demonstrating his commitment to helping those in need.
