The foreign affairs adviser of the interim government Md Touhid Hossain said the Rohingya crisis is not a matter of concern just for Bangladesh as this crisis originated in Myanmar has the chance of spreading the regions outside it.
The foreign affairs advisor said this at the meeting of Commonwealth Ministers on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed it in a message on Tuesday.
At the Commonwealth Ministers' meeting, the foreign adviser said that the Rohingya crisis is not only a matter of concern for Bangladesh. Now the crisis facing the people of Myanmar risks spreading to the surrounding region. The international community should work on this issue.

Meanwhile, the foreign adviser Md. Touhid Hossain had a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar in New York. Matters of mutual interest of the two countries were discussed in the meeting.
